Morning Prayer

​​(KINGDOM REALITY CHECK)

Bless the Lord our God, King of the universe and maker of the heavens and the earth. 

Today I choose to stand in the truth that you alone have all the power and authority, and that you have a purpose for me in your plans. 

I am a citizen of your Kingdom and will not hold to the rights and dreams of my old citizenship. You are my Lord, you own me. You are my King, so I will serve you today. 

My time is your time. My plans are your plans. My income belongs to you and  all that I have you have given to me . So I choose to use what I have for your purposes. And I can rest, knowing you are my loving father, my dad, and I am an heir of your kingdom.

Today help me to find safety, significance and satisfaction in you as your child.

Please show me a glimpse of the beauty of your Kingdom, that I might see and feel and enjoy the good news today.

May the power of your kingdom come right now and destroy the works of the enemy.

Lord my heart grows tired and my vision of you will fades. Sometimes I have little to no interest in Kingdom things because I'm so hungry for selfish things. So I need your help today, to lift my head and look to your heavenly things here on earth.

​Help me to find joy and rest in your embrace.

Please keep me in tune with you as I go about life today. I know you are with me and I ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus!
