You don’t have to be on the front lines to be part of what God is doing.
Sometimes, the most powerful role is simply being aware--praying, celebrating, and standing with those stepping into the hard places. When you stay connected, you see firsthand how lives are being changed, how prayers are being answered, and how the Kingdom is breaking through—in prisons, in the toughest parts of Adelaide, and in the lives of everyday people across the city. If you’ve ever wondered how God is moving in real-time, I’d love to share what I’m seeing. Every so often, I send out stories—raw, honest glimpses of breakthroughs, challenges, and unexpected moments of grace. No pressure, no noise—just a way to stay connected to the work He’s doing. If that sounds like something you’d want to be part of here is how you can stay connected.

Following the LeaderFollowing vs. Leading: Since the rise of the digital age, the formation of a global village culture, and the subsets and influences that this global culture has within cultures, it is important not to make general assumptions about groups. We must be cautious not to throw blanket statements over people groups and ethnic cultures. People are people, we all struggle with similar core issues. Although this part of my story began several years ago and it’s completion, I dare say, is nowhere near to being discovered, I want to share a little of the chapter I find myself in now. I am somewhere in the murky, swamplike middle... wading my way through unclear waters. I know why I’m here and I know that crossing this terrain is crucial for reaching the desired destination, however, being here is becoming disorientating.

Should I Still Ask?In January 2015, I was having a skype chat with Jeff Vanderstelt, when he presented me with an opportunity that I had somewhat been dreaming about since 2009. He asked if Michelle and I would consider moving to Seattle for 2 years to be part of the team at DOXA Church (a good sized church wanting to transition from an event based focus to a missional community mindset). He said it was early days so we’d look at my specific role later, but essentially, I would be trained up under him, through life-on-life discipleship, and then be sent back to Adelaide to plant Missional Communities.
